Engagement Photos in Central Park

I have a favorite path that I like to walk when taking engagement photos in Central Park. I like to start at Bethesda Fountain. Is such an iconic location, and one of the best places in Central Park for portraits. From there I like to take a walk towards the Bow Bridge, and create some portraits with the Upper West Side skyline in the background. If the day is warm and sunny, there will be people rowing boats on the lake, and that is simply beautiful. I like to take a walk around the lake, stopping every time I find a patch of beautiful light. Since the light in Central Park is usually brilliant, sometimes this walk can take a while! I love to climb small hills, crawl over rocks, and find new portrait locations each time I shoot in the park. Then I like to walk back towards Bethesda Terrace, and spend some time with this beautiful structure. The stairs leading up to the terrorists are magnificent, and the light under the arches is stunning. From there it is just a quick walk to the famous Central Park Mall, with its towering arches of trees. If you would like to have your engagement photos taken in Central Park, bring a good pair of walking shoes to change into! We will be climbing steps, walking by the lake, and taking a stroll down the mall. Beautiful in all seasons, there is a reason why Central Park is so incredibly popular as an engagement photo location!. Exif: 1/400; f/4.0; ISO 220; 130.0 mm. (more exif)
