Epi Center Wedding Photographer

During the getting ready times I love watching the relationships between the bride, her family, and her bridesmaids. At this gorgeous Boston wedding the bride got ready in her parents’ home with her mother and sister helping her into her dress. Before leaving for her ceremony and wedding reception at Boston’s Epi Center, the bride took a few moments alone with her mom and sister to put the finishing touches on her attire. Her mother put the veil in her hair and her sister helped lay the tulle gently out behind her. I love the gentleness in this image and that you can feel the softness of the moment. I used one of my favorite lenses to make this photo, the Nikkor 85mm f/1.4. I love the look of this lens at f/1.4! You have to be very careful and not focus and recompose at f/1.4 so I simply moved a focal point onto the bride’s face and I knew that my final image would be perfectly sharp!. Location: 100 West 2nd Street, South Boston, MA 02127. Keywords: Boston (6), Epi Center (3). Exif: 1/160; f/1.4; ISO 400; 85.0 mm. (more exif)
