Epi Center Wedding Photography

Every year brings with it new trends in the wedding industry and in 2012 I saw a lot of the "Here comes your girl!" sign. It was cute the first time I saw it and remains adorable now. It always gets a grin from the guests, especially when carried by a ring bearer as cute as the little boy in this picture! At this wedding ceremony before going to Boston’s Epi Center for the wedding reception I chose to photograph this scene with my 70-200mm lens at 200mm. I know this lens isn’t most photographers’ first choices for a ceremony processional or recessional but I love the compression of this particular lens at this particular focal length. The 200mm focal length compresses the church pews on the left and also separates the ring bearer from the background. I chose to shoot only the ring bearer and not his father walking him down the aisle in this shot so that I could focus more on the fantastic expression of the little boy’s face without any other distractions!. Location: 100 West 2nd Street, South Boston, MA 02127. Keywords: Boston (6), Epi Center (3). Exif: 1/100; f/2.8; ISO 8000; 200.0 mm. (more exif)
