The Inn at Perry Cabin wedding photographyAh, Style Me Pretty. Love it or hate it, you can’t deny that Style Me Pretty is a strong presence in the wedding blog industry. Founded in 2007 by Abby Larson, Style Me Pretty knows it’s market. Their average site visitor is, on average, a 27 year old woman getting married within the coming year. Updated multiple times per day and featuring a wide range of weddings from different locations, demographics, styles, and seasons. I’ve been a Style Me Pretty Little Black Book member for years now, with listings in both the New York and Philadelphia areas. I love that this particular blog chose to feature this charming Maryland wedding, as I feel that it suits the particular aesthetic of this blog perfectly. I had never been to Saint Michaels, Maryland, before this Inn at Perry Cabin wedding and when I thought the venue looked familiar I was right - it had been the setting for the wedding in the film The Wedding Crashers. The bride wore a Watters and Watters dress and d’orsay heels from Valentino. Cinematography was provided by the powerhouse Philadelphia-based team of Cinemacake. Flowers were by Mary Ruth Chapin, entertainment was provided by MyDeejay and the Sage String Quartet, and the gorgeous Inn at Perry Cabin was the site of the ceremony, reception, and also provided the catering. This image was shot when the groom came to see the bride for the first time on the wedding day. I absolutely love the unprompted, unposed, natural reaction on her face. This was the exact second she heard her husband-to-be coming up behind her and the look on her face says it all! You can see the feature on Style Me Pretty, as well as the beautiful film from Cinemacake, here! 1/320; f/3.2; ISO 4500; 200.0 mm.
