Junebug WeddingsOne thing that I always loved about Junebug Weddings has been their desire to feature honest, beautiful photography. They go out of their way to show images that tell true stories, going so far as to have yearly contests for the Best of Wedding Photography, Best of Engagement Photography, and so forth. They also occasionally feature images for their aptly-named That’s Adorable blog posts. In 2012, I had one of my images featured on Junebug for a moment that is, appropriately, quite adorable. I vividly remember taking this image and loving the fantastic moment. The joy on the grandmother’s face at her granddaughter signing her wedding day ketubah was so wonderful to witness and I was thrilled to be able to document this for their family. I would talk about how I entered this image into a print competition later that year and got a terrible score, but then I’d have to talk about how arbitrary print competition scores can be!. 1/80; f/2.8; ISO 8000; 62.0 mm.
