Fonthill Castle Wedding Photographer

Fonthill Castle is a marvelous wedding venue. The Mercer Museum is gorgeous and Fonthill is a hidden Pennsylvania gem. I love the indoor parts of the Museum but I was also entranced by the wooded areas. It was a gorgeous day for this 2013 wedding and the bride, a wedding photographer herself, was willing to brave the woods for some portraits. Before adding the groom to the portrait session I took some time to photograph the bride alone. I positioned her right in the beautiful light and wrapped her in her bridal veil. I love the dramatic nature of the pose and the bride really relaxed into it and enjoyed the session. I shot this picture with the Nikon 70-200mm lens at 200mm to compress the bride off of the background. I love the look of the lens compression in this final shot! It gives a great, intimate feeling to the background. Location: 84 S Pine St, Doylestown, PA 18901. Keywords: Doylestown (5), Fonthill Castle (4), Mercer Museum (4). 1/400; f/4.0; ISO 400; 200.0 mm.
