Wedding Photographer at the Pearl River Hilton

It’s the moments during a wedding day that are my favorite part of being a wedding photographer. While I love photographing portraits, ceremonies, details, and receptions it’s those unexpected, unscripted moments that are the true gems of the day. During this 2012 wedding in Pearl River, New York at the Pearl River Hilton the bride and groom signed a ketubah before their outdoor wedding ceremony. I love the look of the witness as he signed their marriage license! I also love the way the bride is smiling at his reaction. I shot this frame with the 24-70mm f/2.8 Nikon lens because I love the versatility of this zoom. It allows me to create beautiful wide angle shots at 24mm but also crisp, clean images at 70mm. This lens at 70mm was the best choice for this shot and allowed me to zoom out seconds later and get the reactions of everyone else at the table. Location: 500 Veterans Memorial Dr, Pearl River, NY 10965. Keywords: new york (7), The Pearl River Hilton (5). Exif: 1/160; f/2.8; ISO 2500; 70.0 mm. (more exif)
