Wedding Photography at Chelsea Piers in New York

Every time I photograph a wedding I try to include environmental images that will give the clients a great remembrance of what their day looked and felt like. At this Manhattan wedding the bride got ready in the home of one of her mother’s friends and the view of the city was stellar. I asked the bride to put on her gown near the window so that I could include the city skyline in the final image. I pressed myself and my lens as close to the glass as possible and I love the final result. The bride and groom were married in New York and live in Manhattan and I felt that the city was just as important a wedding guest as any other! I love the toning of the black and white image and how it gives the whole scene a timeless feel. Incorporating black and white images into my wedding coverage is something that I do with great care and I feel that it truly works in this frame. Location: 62 Chelsea Piers, New York, NY 10011.
