Wedding Photography at the Four Seasons PhiladelphiaI love Philadelphia. It’s where my husband and I were married. It’s where my favorite restaurants are. It’s a wonderful, cozy city with beautiful light and incredible wedding venues. There are also many iconic locations to take wedding portraits, such as on the top of the Art Museum steps. For those of you who think you don’t know where the Art Museum is, you probably do! It’s the steps that Rocky runs up on in the movie of the same name. It’s also the location of my favorite view of the city. I love that you can see Logan Circle in the distance. I love Philadelphia’s City Hall in the background. I adore the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and Eakins Oval….and I love sharing that view with my clients. During the portrait session of the bride and groom at this 2012 Four Seasons Philadelphia wedding we took some time to visit this landmark and take some portraits with the city they were married in. I absolutely love how the bride is reacting to the groom here and their effortless body language. I especially love the bride’s fantastic hair. The world is so small; I met Josie Sanchez of Manhattan’s Dop Dop Salon at this wedding. She was the person responsible for the bride’s fantastic look. After that wedding I started seeing Josie for my own cuts and colors, she did my hair at my wedding, and I’ve referred her to several clients who hired her for their weddings!
