There are two completely unique reception spaces at Buttermilk Falls. One is the Reception Patio, a charming outdoor space with views of the Hudson River. The other is the Barn at Buttermilk, an intimate-feeling sweeping space. I love the sweeping high wooden ceilings of the barn - candlelight really emphasizes the warm amber glow of this romantic, rustic venue. You can also put a tent on the property if that's your particular aesthetic!
The real question here would be where can't you take your wedding pictures? Want a pond with swans in it? Buttermilk has it. Weeping willow trees? Those are here, too. Rolling hills, gorgeous greenery, meticulously manicured lawns? Check, check, check. There are paved secluded paths. Scenic views. Spaces both wide open and intimately snuggly. They absolutely can. The Inn has 18 rooms for guests to stay in. Some of these rooms are the Grand Laurel wedding suite, the North Cottage, the multiple carriage house suites, and the charming Riverknoll House. Per their website, Buttermilk Falls can host about 50 guests for a wedding weekend.
