Deity Wedding

A New York City landmark, Deity has been hosting one-of-kind weddings for over 11 years. A renovated art deco building located in Boerum Hill on the historic stretch of Atlantic Ave in Downtown Brooklyn, it's home to upgrades and design done by local artists. It comes complete with three floors of urban space just waiting for their amazing, professional wedding coordinators to bring any couples vision to life.

Getting ready is a grand affair in a private suite complete with two bathrooms, a kitchen, and tons of available light for the wedding party to get ready in. You can even pamper yourself in the copper soaking tub while enjoying scenic views of the city with velvet curtains and hand-curated furniture. It’s an exquisite place to begin the portraits of the day.

Just a short walk from the Brooklyn Bridge, Deity offers couples the ability to use the streets of Brooklyn, and various iconic locations where we can do wedding portraits. Back at the Deity, there are endless possibilities on each floor, and the New York City skyline waits on the rooftop.

Entering through the Art Deco era façade with a tree branch wrought iron gate to the Lounge, you step off the streets of Brooklyn and right into three floors of styled romance. Featuring custom stained glass artwork, and velvet banquet seating with a full bar, the Lounge is an ideal spot for a cocktail hour or small reception.

The second floor of Deity, The Loft, is reached through a secret door. A unique ceremony and dining room, The Loft features a chiffon light curtain backdrop that doubles as a ceremony spot as well as, later on, a head table. Saying “I do” in this intimate space, where chiffon meets the brickwork underneath a canopy of twinkle lights, feels warm and cozy. Later, guests can return to the space after the ceremony for dinner served family-style by the executive chef and in-house catering.

After a beautiful dinner, the adventure continues as guests adjourn to the Cellar down a dramatic archway for the reception. A large dance floor, DJ booth, disco ball, and the infamous “Brooklyn Love” lighted sign are the perfect backdrop for a fantastic party. Their approach to all in-house weddings at Deity means that they take great pride in creating stress-free weddings, which still wow couples and guests alike.

There is no more perfect or romantic way to end your wedding day than on the Deity Rooftop. Take in panoramic views of the City from the hot tub/pool, which sits outdoors and under a night sky of stars. Naturally, this is another great space to create more show-stopping wedding portraits, as well as being a relaxing place to end the best day of your life.
