When you think about Brooklyn Bridge engagement pictures, most people think of being on the bridge itself. However, if you’ve ever been on the Brooklyn Bridge, you know how incredibly crowded it is! There are people flying by on bicycles, tourists taking pictures, commuters walking back and forth, and locals walking their dogs across the bridge. It’s fun to experience, but not exactly the quiet, peaceful environment that most clients want for their engagement pictures. If you want portraits with the Brooklyn Bridge in it, I highly recommend shooting those portraits from Brooklyn Bridge Park or the Brooklyn Promenade. You’ll get all the beauty of the Brooklyn Bridge, none of the crazy foot traffic, and a bit of separation so that you can be alone. I love the timeless feel of the black and white image, and how amazing the bride looks rising up in the background. Most of all, I love the incredible interaction between the couple!
