If you’re looking for Philadelphia engagement photo locations, you’re in luck. There are dozens upon dozens of extraordinary options for your session location, all very different from each other. I’ve mentioned before how much I love Washington Square Park, and I really do, especially the Second Bank of the United States. I also adore City Hall, both at City Hall itself as well as shooting towards City Hall from further down Broad Street. I’m a huge fan of Logan Circle, and the gorgeous fountain. If you want something a little more untraditional, you might want to consider Eastern State Penitentiary. Yes, it’s a former prison, but it’s also architecturally fascinating, has beautiful light, and is truly different! I also really love Philadelphia’s Magic Gardens for a totally unique engagement session location. The mosaics are fascinating, and make for a great portrait backdrop. This particular engagement image was taken at one of my very favorite spots, the top of the steps at the Philadelphia Art Museum. Made famous by the Rocky movies, this is also a very popular spot for engagement portraits and wedding day images. I adore the view of downtown Philadelphia and the fact that you can see all the way to City Hall. This is such an iconic Philadelphia location, and a wonderful choice for engagement portraits. Whether the city is covered in snow, the fall leaves are blazing orange in the background, or the trees are summery and green, this is an amazing spot!
