Epson Finish Strong
I was so amazingly, crazily, humbly honored to have been featured in an ad for Epson. That’s me, on the left, clinging precariously with my best yoga strength, to a bridge in Venice, California. Below are our charming models, trying to not float too far afield. Above me is the powerhouse talent of Joe McNally, taking the aerial shot. All around us are the incredible people from Joe’s team, Epson America, and M&C Saatchi. I remember seeing these Epson Finish Strong ads before, but never knew the behind-the-scenes work that went into creating the finished product. I was incredibly blown away when Epson called and asked me to be the featured photographer in this ad. Not only did I have one of my photographs featured, but I was also personally featured, something that was so overwhelmingly cool that I could barely fathom it. I worked alongside Joe McNally, Joe's team, Epson America, and the M&C Saatchi team to flesh out the concept of the shoot, all the way down to the tiniest of props and colors of shoes. It was amazing to see it all come together on one gorgeous afternoon in Venice. I am also so proud to see the Nikon camera and lens that I used to shoot this image so prominently shown in the ad. I was working with the Nikon D4 and the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens. That camera and that lens are huge workhorses in my bag, and I take them to every wedding that I shoot.Location: Venice, California.
