Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding on Style Me PrettyIn late August 2011, New York brides were in a bit of a state of panic. Hurricane Irene was barreling towards the northeast and forcing cancellations all over the area. Luckily these clients did not have to cancel their wedding, and persevered to have one of the sweetest events I shot that year. All of the family and friends who turned out to celebrate the bride and groom braved the difficult weather, turning the rain soaked event into something warm, cozy, intimate, and deeply moving. The entire day would not have run as smoothly as it did without Stacey Kallenberg and her team at As You Wish Wedding and Event Design at the helm! Stacey coordinated the day with grace and unflappable ease. The rest of the vendors also turned out with cool, calm attitudes and were totally unfazed by the weather, which worsened throughout the day! Cinematography was by the team at Orange Films, and they were a delight to work alongside. Florals and event design were by Laura Clare Fine Floral Design. The ceremony and reception were held at the phenomenal Pleasantdale Chateau. The band was Craig Scott Orchestra. Invitations were created by Roy Chang, Roi Elfassy, and Stacy Wright. The bride wore a Christos gown, Manolo Blahnik shoes, and a Homa Bridal veil. At the reception she changed into a Shanghai Tang gown. The bridesmaids wore Amsale. Favors were by Sweet Jane Lynn. The groom’s cake was by Wendy’s Cake Art. The bride’s look was created by Danielle Arminio’s flawless makeup and Ramonda Marku beautiful hair.
