Style Me Pretty Philadelphia
Black and white - is anything more classic than that? Add a touch of pink and you have a modern twist on a classic palette. This delightful summer Philadelphia wedding was the epitome of sweet city charm, and it was featured on Style Me Pretty in September of 2011. I love that this wedding embraces everything that Style Me Pretty loves in a wedding feature without being overtly theatrical. The flowers were subtle but gorgeous, the decor enhanced the venue without overwhelming it, and the genuine emotion in the entire day brought it to vibrant, stunning life. The bride got ready at AKA in Rittenhouse Square and then met her groom for the first time in the center of the square. From there we headed to Christ Church for the ceremony. Christ Church is an iconic Episcopal church in Old City Philadelphia. The church is well known for having fifteen of the signers of the Declaration of Independence in its’ congregation, as well as the location of the grave of Benjamin Franklin. After the ceremony, we walked past the Betsy Ross House to TRUST, an old bank building turned wedding venue. Catering was provided by Feastivities, floral design was by Offshoots Decor, and the abundant joy permeating the entire day was provided by the bride, groom, and their family and friends.
