On the water’s edge, situated on 15 rolling acres between Manhattan and Philadelphia in East Brunswick is the Park Chateau Estate and Gardens. A sprawling estate the active fountains, classic French-style architecture and breathtaking gardens make you feel like you’ve stepped back in time onto the pages of a fairytale.
Guests are welcomed into the grand foyer by a curved staircase and show-stopping chandelier. While it is impressive to see in person, what I love are the endless portrait possibilities that the light, texture, and design of the foyer present for us. From formal portraits to stolen moments that can be captured angled from the top of the stairs, this is exactly the kind of spot I love to work in. Coupled with the checkerboard floor and mahogany of the cocktail room, The Park Chateau is brimming with a contemporary yet chic vibe.
Exquisite service is a staple of the Park Chateau Estate and Gardens, so naturally, the pampering starts early with their well-appointed Bride and Groom suites for getting ready. The open layout, curved doorways, and an antique armoire create perfect spaces to photograph the wedding dress and all the little details of the day. Make-up artists love the natural light pouring in the windows, wedding parties love the four-chair hair and make-up stations, and I love the way I can capture all these little moments and memories in such a lovely and serene spot.
Everyone has a different dream about the moment they say “I do,” however, dreams can come true if you ever wanted to get married outside in a charming private chapel complete with spires. The winding garden grounds, lush and green, a fountain, and a stonework path all lead up to a single arched doorway to the chapel.
A slice of French countryside heaven nestled in New York; some couples enjoy an outdoor ceremony, while some carry on inside the vaulted doors. Inside the double doors, the Chapel is an intimate space that feels open and opulent with its high ceiling and windows that surround the room with light.
The Grand Ballroom lives up to its name. With a soaring ceiling complete with ornate French style details, large windows, a fireplace, and French antiques, the backdrop of the room is stunning. As majestic as it is, it’s clean lines, white walls, and simple elegance of Park Chateau Estate and Gardens still allows for a measure of customization, so you can fill the space with whatever design and floral details move you.
This classic, updated venue offers the perfect twist on elegant and romantic wedding themes.
