Once owned by John Paul Getty, The Pierre has been home to some of the most fabulous weddings and events for over 85 years.
A dramatic backdrop for any wedding, ceremonies are often held in The Cotillion Room where floor to ceilings windows bathe the room in tons of natural light while giving guests one of a kind views of Central Park and Fifth Avenue. Aside from the amazing lighting, I love the ornate detailing, stunning crystal chandeliers, and the marble accents of this iconic space.
Your cocktail hour can be held in what the New York Times once described as “New York’s most spectacular gathering space, The Rotunda at The Pierre. An intimate room perfect for mingling and enjoying gourmet hors d'oeuvres, The Rotunda is a curved room featuring hand-painted murals, a fresco covered ceiling, and a grand double staircase. Less like an event space, it feels a lot more stepping into the page of a storybook, and guests love the enchanting atmosphere.
Situated between Central Park and the hustle and bustle of Madison Avenue, I have to say that by far one of my favorite things about weddings at The Pierre is the endless photographic possibilities. The best of both worlds, we can capture the elegance of The Pierre and walk a block to Madison Avenue to capture more gritty, journalistic images on the streets of New York.
Across the way, we can take a short walk through Central Park for portraits surrounded by one of the most photographed parks in the world.
The Grand Ballroom is a favorite location for receptions at The Pierre. Its soaring silver and gold ceiling is home to eight breathtaking crystal chandeliers hang over the largest, pillarless dance floors in New York. A state of the art sound and lighting system with the ever-popular pin lighting add modern touches to this room dripping in elegance and ornate details.
Family and friends will savor world-renowned cuisine that will delight even the most discerning foodie in your tribe. The menu is fully customizable with fun offerings like pigs-in-a-blanket, or delicacies such as caviar.
