There are so many excellent Brooklyn Engagement photo locations that I hardly know where to start. I love the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, but I also love the lesser-known Brooklyn Bridge Park, Pier 1. It’s a bit out of the way, and less crowded than the Promenade. The views of Manhattan there are truly out of this world. I adore the side streets in DUMBO, away from the waterfront. The streets are full of charm and old-world cobblestones. If you’re wanting spring engagement pictures with beautiful trees, I’d suggest the Cherry Esplanade in the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens. You’re limited with time, and it’s fairly pricey to shoot there, but the trees are so outstanding that it’s worth the effort. If Prospect Park is what you love, the Vale of Cashmere is a truly outstanding hidden gem. It’s quiet, secluded, and bizarrely otherworldly. I also love the Boathouse in Prospect Park, with it’s lovely Lullwater Bridge. If you’re looking for something truly different, the Coney Island Boardwalk gives you pretty ocean views and crazy amusement park charm. I also absolutely love the stellar views from Sunset Park. This image was taken next to one of the many graffitied walls in DUMBO. I love how their outfits pop against the crazy colored background, and I especially adore the bride’s infectious smile.
