I’ve talked before about my love of Brooklyn Bridge Park, but it’s equally important to keep your eyes open to new locations and new things.Even if I’ve photographed in a location a dozen times before, I’m always looking for something new. New light, new backgrounds, and sometimes even new graffiti! This fantastic "yes" was under a bridge near Brooklyn Bridge Park, and if I hadn’t been looking for it, I’d have missed it!I figured that the huge "yes" was a great location for an engagement portrait, so I took this future bride and groom there one gorgeous afternoon.I always strive to create portraits that feel natural and real, and I love the interaction between the couple in this image. Being engaged is a wonderful time, and I hope that this portrait reminds this couple what it felt like to be excited about the upcoming wedding, completely in love, and what their lives were like at this point in time.
