New Jersey is a gorgeous state, and it’s the location of some of my favorite engagement pictures. When non-locals think of New Jersey, they think of Bruce Springsteen, air pollution, the New Jersey Turnpike, and that incredible train wreck that is the Jersey Shore (the tv show, not the actual shore, which is beautiful!). The New Jersey that I have come to know is a beautiful state with truly gorgeous portrait locations. Whether you are walking the boardwalk in Asbury Park, riding horses in Colts Neck, looking at the Manhattan skyline from Hoboken or Jersey City, New Jersey has a lot to offer in terms of engagement session locations! This bride and groom chose to have their engagement session just around the corner from where they would later be married. The location was important to them, and therefore it was important to me. I always want my clients to choose an engagement session location that will be meaningful to them.Don’t feel like you have to pick the current hotspot or popular location, because I want you to look back on these images later and love your chosen location! It is also important to me that whatever we do during your engagement session be something that is natural to the two of you.I love that this bride and groom brought their bikes and went on a quick ride together. The location, the outfits, and the activity all came together perfectly. Please don’t hesitate to drop me an email or give me a call if you have a unique engagement session location idea. I would love to hear about your plans!
