Philadelphia is a beautiful city, and an incredible location for engagement pictures. There are so many extraordinary places in Philly to take your engagement portraits, from the architectural perfection of City Hall to the quiet peace of Washington Square Park. This engagement picture was taken at the Horticultural Center in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park. I absolutely love how the fountain behind the bride and groom is the background a compelling and interesting texture. I love the natural interaction between the couple, and the bride’s fantastic laugh. Please bear in mind that if you would like to have portraits taken in this location, you have to obtain permission beforehand. There are a lot of locations in New York and Philadelphia that require you to obtain a permit before you are able to photograph there. If you take a look at the two pages on my website with location suggestions in New York and Philadelphia, I have noted when a permit is necessary. If a permit is required. We truly do need to obtain one, since I would hate to be asked to leave your chosen location for your engagement portraits before the session even begins! Please do feel free to give me a call or drop me an email if you would like to talk about photographing your engagement pictures in the Philadelphia area. Since I do split my time equally between Brooklyn and Philly, there is no travel fee to go to Philadelphia.
