I have been a headshot photographer in New York since 2008, specializing in headshots for actors and performers in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, New Jersey, and beyond.
Photographing headshots has always been very close to my heart. While I've been a wedding and portrait photographer since 2002, I went to school for theatre and have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in acting and dance. I vividly remember my first headshot session, and it's a joy to be on the other side of the camera these days!
I love hearing about my clients' headshot needs, and working with them to achieve the best headshots they've ever had!
I do many other types of portraits and theatrical fine art portrait work. I often hear from my clients : "I love being photographed while dancing, singing, or performing. But I hate having headshots taken!"
I understand. I do. Because I am you.
I well remember being so stressed out and nervous about my first headshot session. I still get headshots taken of myself every few years, because I often need headshots for photography speaking engagements and that "About Me" page on this very website. I know how important a headshot is, and I also know how uncomfortable it can be to have them taken.
For this reason, I am very passionate about the headshot photography that I do. I want to make sure that all of my headshot clients have a wonderful experience in my studio. I strive to make sure that every headshot is representative of who my clients are as actors, as people, and as dedicated performers. I promise to work with every actor that comes into my studio to create headshots that make him and her excited to use them!
I look forward to creating your photographic representation. I promise the experience will be a fun one!

As a portrait photographer, I often photograph other things than just headshots! I photograph many weddings per year, as well as many other types of portraits. While I have a huge place in my heart for headshots of actors and performers, I also photograph babies families, children, high school seniors, graduation photos, online dating photos, corporate headshots, and more.
If you are looking for theatre photography, other types of portraits, or anything that you don't see in this specific gallery, please drop me an email or give me a call. I'd love to hear about your photography needs and work with you to create portraits for you!
