Figuring out what good headshot prices in New York are can be difficult. How do you know what is a reasonable amount to pay for professional headshots? How do you know how much is too much? How do prices in New York vary from elsewhere in the United States?

Headshot prices in New York vary wildly based on experience level of the photographer and what the headshot session actually entails.

Tell me more about your headshot packages?

My headshot sessions are very simple, but there are three options to choose from. I have three headshot packages, and all include the following:

• Approx. two hours of shooting time. If you are looking to hire hair/makeup, I’d estimate another ninety minutes for that before we begin shooting.
• A password-protected online image gallery for easy viewing of images and choosing of favorites. This will be ready within four business days of your shoot date.
• Two or three looking during the shoot itself. I am glad to help you decide what to wear for your session!

Sessions are available Monday through Friday with occasional Sunday availability.

Do you have different options?

My headshot packages are as follows:

• ONE : This session includes two high-resolution fully retouched images ready for printing, web, and social media use.
• TWO : This session includes three high-resolution fully retouched images ready for printing, web, and social media use.
• THREE : This session includes eight high-resolution fully retouched images ready for printing, web, and social media use. This session also includes an extra hour for two to three additional outfit changes, dance shots, full body images for comp cards, and a variety of other images to be used for your website/branding/social media presence.

For an additional fee on top of any package you can choose to obtain your high resolution un-retouched proof images.

Hair and makeup for headshot sessions

I have worked with many amazing hair and makeup artists that do incredible work with my headshot clients. If hair and makeup is something you’d like to add to your session, just let me know so that I can book the artist! She stays with us for the duration of the shoot, and can even change up your look from a more natural one to a more dramatic one!

If you refer a friend who books a session for the same day (during their own session time), you’ll receive a discount off any package that you choose.
