Princeton Wedding PhotographersI am always impressed when brides, grooms, and their wedding parties brave the weather for the sake of their portraits. There was snow and sleet on the ground at this winter wedding but the entire bridal party was willing to join the bride and groom on the grounds of Princeton University after their ceremony at the Abiding Presence Lutheran Church. The bride and groom chose the Arches by Holder Hall, Rockefeller College as their portrait location and I loved the light there! (In fact, my assistant and I loved this location so much that we traveled back here the following year to take her family portraits with her husband, kids, and husband’s family!) I positioned the bride with her bridesmaids towards the bottom of the frame, leaving the entire top to be filled with the soaring arches. I love how the arches lead you through the image, ending up right with the bride and her bridal party. I love the warm, holiday red of the bridesmaids dresses and the lovely veil on the bride. Thanks for venturing outside in the cold with me, everyone, I think it was well worth it!
