Simply put, commercial photography is any photography of products or services that your business sells, creates, collaborates on, etc. These images are generally used on websites, social media, billboards, e-commerce sites, printed brochures or other paper goods, magazine advertisements, packaging for products, in-store physical advertising such as end cap signs or displays, and so forth.
Commercial photography, also sometimes called advertising photography, is intended to showcase a product to entice a target audience and convert sales.
I have been photographing products for over a decade. These products have included flowers, custom floral creations, rings, bracelets, earrings, custom and catalog jewelry, food, beverage, product packaging, images used to create product packaging, and so much more.
I know that there are a lot of things that will go into your commercial shoot. Do you need an indoor shoot with a white or black basic studio setup? Do you want more of a lifestyle feel for your product photography? Do you need a model/models to work with the product in a more editorial fashion? What will you be using the images for? How many final images do you need? Will you require a stylist, a hair and makeup artist, or other team members?
If you have any questions, just contact me and ask. I'd love to help tailor your commercial shoot to meet all of your specific needs.
