Many brides and grooms spend a lot of time thinking about the decor for the wedding ceremony and reception, working with their vendors to make their visions come to life.
This gorgeous Belle Mer wedding had an outdoor ceremony overlooking the water. I especially love the gorgeous pattern of petals laid out on the grassy aisle!
At this 2013 Newport, Rhode Island wedding, the couple did an extraordinary job of decorating their reception space to enhance the modern, crisp feel of their venue. I had been impressed the night before by their wedding rehearsal dinner at Newport’s Castle Hill Inn and the same attention to detail was applied to their Vanderbilt Grace and Belle Mer wedding day.
I loved this bride's attention to detail, which extended to her incredible Lazaro gown, delicate updo, and beautiful long veil
Every vendor was chosen with care, so it was no surprise that cocktail hour and the reception details were also sheer perfection. Cocktail hour was held in Belle Mer’s Water Salon, and the wedding reception was in the Lawn House. The details of the day were so sweet that the wedding was featured on Love Olio and was also featured in the print version of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style magazine. It is always such a lovely honor to have my wedding photography featured but while such publications are wonderful, it is satisfying my clients that is the biggest honor of all.
This couple's elaborate cake was placed in the most beautiful patch of light in the ballroom. Their attention to detail even extended to the lighting of the event!
The team at Belle Mer was especially excellent at this event, helping the couple's vision come to life. If you're getting married in Newport, I highly recommend that you reach out to Belle Mer and go take a look! I'd love to hear how your plans come together, and talk to you about the vision of your day!
