William Vale Hotel Wedding

As a Brooklyn resident, I have a sweet place in my heart for Brooklyn venues. The William Vale is not only a Brooklyn wedding venue, but a beautiful, remarkable space.

What precisely makes this venue so incredible? There are almost too many things to mention. Just a few include:

  • Their focus on featuring the work of Brooklyn artists throughout the lobby and beyond.
  • The incredibly cool metalwork decor in the rooms.
  • The elevated promenade of Vale Park.
  • Their incredible support of Groundswell.
  • An incredible calendar of events from Brooklyn-based vendors.
  • Their 60-foot Vale Pool, the largest in Brooklyn.
  • Their four amazing dining opportunities : Leuca, Westlight, Mister Dips, and poolside at Vale Pool.

If you're getting married at the William Vale, you have a lot of spaces to choose from when planning your celebration. Some of my favorites are:

The Ballroom and Foyer

The extraordinarily adaptable Vale Ballroom has an incredible twenty-three foot high ceiling. It's a great space for a wedding reception. There are even luxury dressing areas nearby, should you need a touchup before your party (that is where this getting-ready image was created)!

The Foyer is perhaps best known for it's immaculate Italian marble staircases. This gives brides and grooms a very theatrical place of entry for their wedding guests. The Foyer is right next to to Vale Ballroom, and is a great adjacent space. It is often used for small indoor ceremonies and wedding cocktail hours.

The max capacity in the Ballroom is around two hundred and twenty five people, which is a wonderful capacity for such an intimate-feeling location.

The Vale Pool

THE. VALE. POOL. Yes, I know I just put that in bold, italicized it, and underlined it. But seriously, this enormous pool is one of a kind in a city not precisely known for an abundance of pools!

This extremely sleek outdoor lap pool is sixty feet long and is surrounded by elegant cabanas for lounging and relaxing. The roof space is over 5,000 square feet, providing ample space to hang out with your wedding guests. There is even a beautiful pergola!

The skyline views here are truly unparalleled, and there are wonderful amenities which make this a great space to consider for part of your wedding celebration.

Vale Park

Raised high above the ground, this fifteen thousand square foot space is a WONDERFUL choice for wedding day portraits. It's a lush, gorgeous public green space. There are even gently rolling hills, not often found in Brooklyn!

The Vale Terrace

If you're looking for an open-air space for your wedding ceremony, Vale Terrace is a great option. There are crazy-good views of the Manhattan skyline as well as great deal of open space to create whatever atmosphere you'd like for your celebration!

You can even have your cocktail hour and/or dinner here if you'd like - it truly is a versatile space.
